MHSPA NEWSLETTER III
Christmas Extravaganza 2011 – Friday, December 16th @ The Esplanade
Classes involved in this show include:
Intro to Dance 3yrs
All 4-5 & 6-7yrs combo classes
JR & Int Musical Theatre
Senior Jazz/Tap
Students are to arrive by 6pm in costume/make-up and head to their designated dressing room areas. Each room will be supervised and we would appreciate if parents would drop their child off to avoid overcrowding the space:)
The show will begin at 7pm with a 20min intermission and should be over by 9pm. If you have purchased a ticket for your child, you may get them after they have performed, otherwise they can stay in the dressing room until curtain call. Those students in more than one class will have designated backstage helpers to change them into their costumes.
Dress Rehearsal – Thursday, December 15th @ The Esplanade
Running order an details of the dress rehearsal were posted at the studio and in the last newsletter. We are still in need of parent volunteers, please see the front desk if you are available.
Picture Day for all Mini Bopper Combo Classes – Saturday, December 10th @ The Studio
10-11 am – Saturday 4-5yrs Ballet/Tap & Tuesday 4-5yrs Ballet/Tap & Intro to Dance 3yrs
11-12 pm – Saturday 4-5yrs Jazz/MT & Tuesday 4-5yrs Jazz/MT
12-1 pm – Saturday 6-7yrs Jazz/MT & Wednesday 6-7yrs Jazz/MT
1-2pm – Saturday 6-7yrs Ballet/Tap & Wednesday 6-7yrs Ballet/Tap
Students are to arrive 15min before their scheduled picture time slot, in costume/make-up ready to go. Please be sure they have gone to the bathroom prior to pictures:) If your child is not getting pictures, we ask that they still attend for the group photo so that those who do want a class photo have a complete one.
Last Day of Classes – Saturday, December 17th Have a wonderful holiday:)
All Saturday students – Due to all your hard work on Friday at the show, we are going to have all Saturday classes join together from 11-12 for a fun wrap up class!!!
To all Mini Boppers/Intro to Dance students – If you plan to continue into session II please let us know by December 10th, otherwise your spot will be opened to students on our wait list. If you are continuing we will take care of the payment options in January:) Classes resume on Monday, January 2nd/2012!!!
All Competitive Classes – This includes: JR Jazz II INT Jazz II SR Jazz II INT Modern I SR Modern I INT Tap I SR Tap I SR Ballet I. All costume and entry fees are now PAST DUE. Please see the front desk a.s.a.p.

CHRISTMAS EXTRAVAGANZA!!!
Our Christmas Extravaganza is fast approaching, so please pay close attention to the following information to make sure you stay in the loop:)
Dress Rehearsal: Thursday, December 15th at the Esplanade
Students are to arrive in costume and proceed into the Esplanade Theatre where parent volunteers will be waiting with their designated classes. This is a closed dress rehearsal, once you have dropped off your child, you may come pick them up after the following time slots. The running order of dress rehearsal will also indicate which costume is to be worn first for those students involved in more than one class.
4:00 – 6:30
Tuesday 4-5yrs Ballet
Saturday 4-5yrs Ballet (Tues & Sat classes put on tap shoes)
Intro to Dance 3yrs Old
Tues & Sat 4-5yrs Tap (any student also in Jazz/MT change)
Wednesday 6-7yrs Ballet
Saturday 6-7yrs Ballet (Wed & Sat classes put on tap shoes)
Tuesday 4-5yrs Jazz/MT
Wed & Sat 6-7yrs Tap (any student also in Jazz/MT change)

Parent Volunteers: A sign up sheet is posted at the studio for dress rehearsal parent volunteers. For the night of the performance, senior students and separate parent volunteers will be designated to dressing rooms. If your child has a ticket you may come get them after they are finished performing, otherwise the are to stay backstage until curtain call.
Picture Day for Mini-Boppers: Saturday, December 10th forms will be available at the front desk and a schedule will be posted at the studio and on the website. We do request that even if you do not purchase photos please attend the group pictures for those who want a memory of the class.
