The Medicine Hat School of Performing Arts opened it's doors in September of 2008. This culminated a lifelong dream of the Artistic Director, Genevieve Anne Bourdon. The studio is located at #1-929 South Railway Street S.E. We offer two beautiful studios, equipped with professionally sprung dance floors, ballet barres and full length mirrors. There is also a parent's lounge area, a large dressing room, two bathrooms and a children's entertainment centre. Amenities aside, we also offer highly qualified instructors, with University degrees in the fields of Drama and Dance, thereby providing a solid dance base and innovative choreography. As the students progress, there are festivals and competitions to become a part of. We also offer two performances a year at the Esplanade, in December and May. With that in mind, it is our full intention to keep costume costs down to enable affordability for all families. Our students and teachers alike have won awards in only our first year of operation! We pride ourselves in striving for professional standards, yet keeping the student's enivronment a positive experience.
